This tiny embroidered cat decoration was such a fun mix of texture, sparkle, and hand stitching. Created in a 3″ embroidery hoop, the piece combines simple embroidery thread sketches with layered floral sequins, tiny stitched details, and soft spring colors for a playful handmade look.
The sweet little cat is surrounded by a floral wreath stitched with embroidery floss and accented with dimensional flower sequins and French-knot style details to add texture and shine. To finish the piece, the hoop was wrapped with a rustic burlap ribbon woven with metallic thread and tied into an oversized bow for a charming farmhouse-inspired touch.
I love blending traditional embroidery with unexpected materials like sequins and mixed textures. The result feels whimsical, cheerful, and slightly vintage — like a tiny handmade treasure ready to hang for spring or year-round decor.
