Hand Embroidered Strawberries: A Farmhouse Inspired Table Linen

A soft, farmhouse-inspired linen brought to life with hand-embroidered strawberries winding along delicate green vines. Tiny blossoms and lace trim add a gentle, vintage touch, while each stitch gives the piece a quiet, handmade warmth. It’s a simple, charming detail that feels both timeless and thoughtfully crafted.

Visions of Spring: Hand Painted Spring Eggs

The birds are chirping and the sights and sounds of Spring are near! Inspired by nature and the beautiful colors of spring, I hollowed out a few perfect eggs. I then enjoyed painting them with delightful and vibrant Easter scenes. From ordinary to heirloom one little project at a time.

Welcoming Fall with a Hand Embroidered Ghost

Silently standing in the leaves, this hand embroidered ghost was inspired by the warm hues of Fall. I drew the image with washable marker on white cotton fabric, and then embroidered this mysterious little ghost scene using DMC cotton thread and a 5″ hoop. To finish, I wrapped the hoop in a gorgeous rust colored ribbon and added a little bow and loop for hanging! Spectacularly Spooky!

A Charming Fox: Exploring Embroidery Techniques

This Charming Fox is showcased in a 12″ hoop, ribbon wrapped and ready to hang! I used functional line stitches like backstitch and stem stitch for outlines, filler stitches like satin stitch and long-and-short stitch for covering areas, and decorative French knots. DMC Cotton, and DMC Metallic threads were used. The end result was a charming fox with various sheen and textures.
